Meet Elvis Chiew, art teacher and artist. Like many solo entrepreneurs, Elvis needed a professional headshot so potential clients and students would see that his business is well-established and that he’s an approachable person to work with. Elvis also needed extra lifestyle shots as publicity material for his art classes which were catered to kindergarten and secondary school students.
With that brief in mind, we discussed how we could best portray his passion and services in visual form. Most importantly, we considered how it needs to be easily understood by his target clientele, and yet maintain a contemporary look and feel which was a reflection of his personal style. In just under an hour, we got a variety of photos that he’ll be able to use for the platforms mentioned above, as well as for other uses in future such as a personal website, his own brochure perhaps, and maybe someday a magazine feature too!
