As the year draws to a close, we can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey we’ve had. This year was nothing short of extraordinary, and we owe it all to the Stories team, who poured their hearts and gave more than 200% into every single project.
If we had to pick one highlight of 2024, it would undoubtedly be the unforgettable shoot for Resorts World Cruises. Imagine coordinating over 40 individuals across two cruise ships, sailing for a total of 11 days in June and July! It tested us in ways we never imagined, from logistics to creativity, but the results made every challenge worthwhile. Seeing those moments come to life through our lens will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Beyond that, we were privileged to work on projects that truly mattered. For Duopharma, we documented the heartfelt stories of cancer survivors, celebrating their courage and resilience. For UNICEF, we captured inspiring videos of individuals who have been champions for children’s advocacy, as part of their 70th-anniversary celebration in Malaysia. And for Shiseido, we highlighted the Lavender Ring program, which uplifts cancer patients by restoring confidence and beauty through empowerment and care. These stories reminded us of the power of visuals to inspire and connect.
This year wasn’t just about capturing moments—it was also about creating spaces for connection and growth. We were thrilled to host, along with our collaborators:
- International Women’s Day: Fearless Females – Empowering Dreams, a two-day event that brought together over 80 women to explore topics like business and personal branding.
- Amplify Impact, a branding, marketing, and visual storytelling workshop crafted for social enterprises, micro businesses, and NGOs to help them amplify their missions.
- Headshot Networking Parties, where entrepreneurs and business professionals not only got a professional headshot from our team but also had the chance to connect and collaborate with like-minded individuals.
This year also marked exciting new beginnings as we welcomed clients like the Delegation of European Union to Malaysia, Standard Chartered, British American Tobacco, Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company, Malaysian Humanitarian Foundation and London Speaker Bureau. At the same time, we continued to nurture our relationships with long-standing clients such as Monash University, Subsea7, Avanade, and Paywatch. These partnerships mean the world to us, and we’re humbled by the trust you’ve placed in us to tell your stories.
While our work under Stories for Business keeps us busy, we’ve also cherished the opportunity to photograph the personal moments that mean so much to our clients. Under Stories Lifestyle, we continued to capture the beauty of life’s milestones—weddings, newborns, maternity, and family portraits. These heartfelt sessions remind us of the joy and significance of storytelling through the lens.
